Membership in networks

The VSNU is a member of:

• The European University Association (EUA): a partnership between European universities. The organisation has 760 members across 45 countries and is one of the most important organisations promoting the interests of the higher education sector in Europe.
• The International Association of Universities (IAU): the UNESCO-based worldwide association of higher education institutions. The IAU brings together institutions and organisations from some 150 countries for reflection and action on common concerns and collaborates with various international, regional and national bodies active in higher education.
